Jet-X was started back in 1999 by two airline enthusiasts that wanted to produce limited edition, highly collectible 1/400 scale models. Our first release debuted in April of 2000, and was an overnight success. We’re about to enter our seventh year, and it looks to be another big year. Our expansion continues to now cover the 1/200 scale, starting with the BAe 146 series and moving forward from there.

Jet-X produces models of all airlines both domestic and international. We’ve been proud to produce corporate release models for many airlines worldwide in addition to our regular release models.

Each Jet-X release is limited to a maximum production run of 1,500 units and many are imprinted with an individual serial number. Our boxes are also representative of the airline livery.

Jet-X currently maintains two lines of models: our JX series which are our 1/400 series and our JXL series which are 1/200 scale models. Previously, Jet-X had a very limited line known as the "JXM" line (less than 300 units – effective October 2006). The JXM series often incorporates a similar livery to our regular release, but has noticeable differences that warrant a separate release, but not of a production run greater than 300 units.

The JXM line is now discontinued, and all releases in 1/400 scale will carry a JX product ID regardless of production quantity.

Due to the high demand of limited production models (150 units or less) we sell the majority of those models direct to collectors through the Jet-X Collectors Club (although they may continue to be available through retailers that carry Jet-X models).

Our models can be found worldwide at many Retailers who also carry Dragon Models , our manufacturer for 1/400 models. If you are a retailer, and wish to carry Jet-X models in your shop, please check for a Distributor that handles your territory.
